ALL ARE WELCOME! In this NEW class we will practice yoga poses, basic breath practices, and body awareness. We'll do some standing poses, seated poses, forward folds, backbends, balance poses, twists, core strengthening, restorative poses, and savasana in a comfortable (75deg) room. While there may be an occasional sun salutation, this is not a vinyasa or flow style class. Poses will be done more slowly and deliberately, with time to focus on breathing and physical sensations in the body. The focus will shift weekly from shoulders to hips to feet to low back, etc., while always including some poses from every category. Chairs and other props are available to modify as desired.
8 week pilot program: The first two weeks are free to all! (pre-registration is highly recommended)

Feedback is welcomed and encouraged regarding level, day, time, frequency, accessibility, etc. *If you need a chair in order to participate in class, we can provide one to you, however please let us know your needs up front so we can have enough chairs available for those who need them.
